We probably don’t have many (any?) readers who think the moon landing was faked. But this clip below is still pretty fascinating.
Photographer and filmmaker S.G. Collins offers up his own elegant explanation for why the video clips of the Apollo moon missions couldn’t have been a hoax. Back in 1969, we simply didn’t have the video technology necessary to fake what people saw:
Collins picks apart some of the crudest moon-hoax conspiracy theories, but the interesting stuff starts around 4:30, when he takes us through the history of video techniques such as slow-motion. There was no way to simulate the moon in a studio back then. “Why are people missing this?” he asks. “I think they’re forgetting how primitive video was in 1969.”
